Class Attire Requirements:Tippy Toes Dancers and Tap/Ballet Combo Dancers must wear a leotard, ballet and tap shoes. Skirts/tights are optional, however tights should be worn during the colder winter months for safety. We encourage individuality and do not require specific color requirements in our classes. Clothing may be any color or design and should be something that your little dancer is excited to wear. Clothing should be safe and not distract from the dancer's movement ability or the teacher's ability to see the student's body movements. (No long skirts/t-shirts/pants).
PLEASE NOTE: Dancers must wear leather ballet shoes not "slippers" which are sold at places such as Wal-mart and claim to be ballet shoes. These shoes are dangerous, fall off of dancer's feet and cause them to slip.
Dancers in more advanced classes should speak with the director for more information on appropriate clothing.
Dancers should have their hair secured back off of their face to avoid distraction.
